New Catalog Unit

Catalog units are used to mark the Feature value. It is set on Feature card. It can be created as internal unit or upload from external standards. This use case describes how to create new catalog unit.

Main Steps:

  1. Choose the Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature icon, enter Catalog Units, and then choose the related link (Classification/Catalogue Units).
  2. On the Catalog Units page click on New to create a new line.
  3. Type in unique Unit ID, otherwise it will be automatically generated.
  4. Then fill in Unit Code and Unit Shorthand, wchich are usually same.
  5. Fill in the Unit Description
  6. Choose Group System Number, which indicates whether the unit is internal or uploaded from the standard.
  7. When you have completed adding new Unit in Unit list, choose the OK button. The Unit is added to the Unit list and ready to use.
