Dynamic Feature Groups
The dynamic feature group functionality enables automated generation and synchronization of key item fields, such as catalog descriptions and catalog codes, based on configurable rules and dynamic feature groups. By combining standard logic with rule actions, it allows users to define how item information is assembled from multiple attributes (for example, dimensions, core data, or other determinants) depending on the item category.
This ensures that item descriptions and codes are always consistent, automatically updated when any underlying feature changes, and clearly traceable. It provides a powerful, rule-based framework for maintaining structured, high-quality product data.
How to set up a dynamic feature group
- Create a polyvalent feature with values that represent descriptions of the features that will determine the value of this feature.
- Create features with descriptions that match the values in the dynamic feature.
- Open the category card where you want to determine the dynamic feature.
- In Product Features, create a line with the dynamic feature, and then select the values that determine its content.
- Assign the selected features and enter their values.
