Available Configuration Packages

There are several configuration options in Pimics. For these purposes, we created packages to help with default or most common settings.

Below is a list of packages with a description of their content.

PackagePIMX.DE.EVALUATE.rapidstart	German Demo Data	Before you use this package please import EVALUATE (DE) package from Microsoft. See create evaluate company.
PackagePIMX.CZ.EVALUATE.rapidstart	Czech Demo Data	Before you use this package please import EVALUATE (CZ) package from Microsoft. See create evaluate company.
PackagePIMICS.ENU.EXCELEXP.rapidstart	Default configuration for Excel Export	Contains publication groups and templates
PackagePIMICS.ENU.PUBL.WEB.rapidstart	Default configuration for API	Contains publication groups and templates
PackagePIMICS.ENU.PUBL.SANA.rapidstart	Default configuration for Sana Commerce	Contains publication groups and templates

There is also a Configuration Worksheet folder with implementation packages. It can be used for initial data import into Pimics.

With Configuration Worksheet, also import the following packages:

Create Evaluate Company

To create an evaluation company with Pimics in Business Central, follow these steps:

1. Install Pimics extension into the environment
2. Create a new evaluation company
   1. Search for Companies and select related link
   2. Under New select Create New Company
   3. Follow steps until you have a field Select the data and setup to get started.. Select Evaluation - Sample Data
   4. Follow steps and finish the wizard
3. Import one of the following Pimics evaluation packages
   • PackagePIMX.EN.EVALUATE.rapidstart
   • PackagePIMX.DE.EVALUATE.rapidstart
   • PackagePIMX.CZ.EVALUATE.rapidstart
4. Search for Item Groups and select related link
5. Select all lines and run the Overtake Item Data function. It copies all common data from items to the selected item groups.
6. Search for Product Groups and select the related link.
7. Select all lines and run the Overtake Item Group Data function. It copies all common data from item groups to the selected product groups.
8. Search for Publications and select the related link.
9. Select all lines and run the Reorganize Publication function. It updates data in all selected publications. This operation can take an hour.
10. After the evaluation company is set up, follow Jobs Queues & Retention Policy to review retention policy setup and recommendations.
