I changed the standard item group on the item card and features on item are empty now. Whas has happened and how do I prevent it? Features were inhereted from the item group that was removed. To prevent this from happening make sure in catalog setup option Inherit Delete is set to Ask when asked if you wish to copy to current level click yes inherit delete can also be set copy to current level as default option
Warning: all features will be pressent on entity when changing standart groups and can cause change in Value if Feature is inherited from consequent parent entity with different Value.
How to specify main category for e-commerce?

How do I import files into Pimics? File can be assigned straight to an item, uploaded separately trough Document upload worksheet and for online documents Links worksheet

We need to upload a file with a specific extension X to Pimics and it is not allowed To specify new File Extension, search for *File extension, create a new line.Afterwards go to Document Classes and define new line for the extension X

Publications & Exports

I have a certified item, but it is not visible in the publication. What to check? Have you Refreshed publication? Check if the Item you wish to insert into publication is part of the category you wish to publish. Check if the Channel is specified on the Item, does it correspond with publication channel? Check if the publication group you are using for items does not have a rule that might rule the item out.
My items do not have any features in publication. We use ETIM classification. How to include those features? Group System Number in Publication card must be either, left empty or youhave to specify the ETIM group you are using. If this is in order, check if your publication group hase Feature publication group assigned, if so, check if said Feature publication group hase an empty line in rules
Can I have the same category multiple times in the Shopify publication? Yes you can have same category multiple times in shopify publication. But when you decide to synchronize publication structure with shopify menu, note, that for each occurrence of category in publication structure, a new shopify collection will be created.
We created a new product in Pimics. Have do we publish it to e-commerce? The next step is to reorganize the publication. This can be done in 2 ways:
1. Open the Publication, go to Data > Reorganize Publication. This will update the complete publication and can take a while
2. Go to the PIM Items list, open the Item, click on Home > Reorganize Publications, select the publication, and press ok
Where can I see data in publication? Unstructure data like XMLs, JSONs are saved in a fields like Publicatio Data. If you'd like to explore what is saved, open Publication Structure select line and go to Relation -> Data -> Show Data
See communicate between Pimics and Sana Commerce In Pimics go to Pimics Activity Log filter to Sana Commerce and use action Show Data. For current data explore saved XMLs in publication lines.
